Training built for high level of commitment.
Pod sessions, private training, and our signature summer camp — each program designed to accelerate development beyond team practice.
Pod Sessions - Small Group · 2:1 or 3:1
Pods are the heart of Savvy Athletics. Position and skill-matched groups of two or three players, training together in four-week blocks built around a single tactical theme. Every minute is intentional. Every drill connects to the game.
Group size: Maximum 3:1 ratio, always Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 10 AM – 1 PM Matching: Players placed in pods based on position and skill level — no friend-group pods
The 4-week curriculum framework:
Each block follows a single tactical theme. Block themes rotate quarterly:
- Block A — Receiving and First Touch: Open body shape, first touch under pressure, scanning before the ball arrives
- Block B — 1v1 Attacking: Change of pace, body feints, finishing the 1v1
- Block C — Combination Play: Wall passes, third-man runs, overlaps and 2v1 in attacking thirds
- Block D — Finishing: First-time finishing, cutbacks and crosses, 1v1 vs keeper composure
Pricing:
- 2:1 ratio: $60 per player, per hour
- 3:1 ratio: $50 per player, per hour
- 4-week blocks: $200–$240 per player depending on ratio
- Weekly parent recap included with every session

Common Questions
What parents ask before signing up.
Q: What ages do you train? A: Currently focused on U10 through U17, with most players in the U12–U15 range. Reach out about your specific player and I’ll let you know if it’s a fit.
Q: My player isn’t at WPFC. Can they still train? A: Yes. Savvy Athletics is open to players from any club. Pods are matched by skill and position, not affiliation.
Q: How are pods grouped? A: I match players based on age, position, and current skill level. Pods are not built around friend groups — that’s how pods stop developing players. Trust the matching process; it’s how the small-group format actually works.
Q: What’s the cancellation policy? A: Pods and private sessions require 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule. Camp registration is non-refundable within 7 days of the camp date.
Q: What does my player need to bring? A: Cleats and turf shoes, a soccer ball, water, shin guards. Goalkeepers bring gloves. Field location and any session-specific gear will be sent in your confirmation email.
Q: Do you offer team training or clinics? A: Not currently. Savvy Athletics is built around individual and small-group development. Team training stays with your club.
Q: Is there a waiting list? A: For private training, yes — slots are limited to my Monday-Thursday 10 AM–1 PM window. Reach out and I’ll let you know current availability or estimated wait.
